Our Nantucket Parts
Each of our parts lists
includes the prices for the kits, molds, and optional parts for each
of our Nantucket baskets. We have included mold names where more
than one basket is made on the same mold. You can be creative
and give your baskets a different look by using our optional
parts, you can "make your own basket styles"!
Kits:
Kits include all the materials you need to make the basket including
the plan, hardware, ash base and handle, reed rims, and cane for
staves and weaving. It does not include any mold that might
be needed. Molds are purchased separately. Bone dressings
are an option and not included in the kit unless otherwise noted.
1/2 Kits:
Half kits are for experienced weavers that have weaving supplies
already. Half kits include only the following ash parts: base, handle,
and rims, as well as any unusual
woodenware. It does not include the weaving materials, mold,
plan, or
hardware to put your basket together.
NOTE:
The "Lightship kits"
include all ash wooden parts including rims and tapered ash staves.
The cane weavers, all hardware and written illustrated instructions
are included. Bone dressings are an option and are not included.
It does not include any mold that might be needed. Molds are
purchased separately.
The "Lightship 1/2 kits"
include only the following ash wooden parts: base, handle, rims
and tapered staves. No weaving materials, hardware, plan or mold
is included.
